Property Committee

The Property Committee consists of a chairperson, and other volunteers from the Congregation.  The Committee comes under the Finance Ministry.

The purpose of the Committee is to identify and prioritize necessary maintenance, repairs, and other projects deemed necessary in upkeep of the church’s buildings and property in general.  It coordinates with our pastor and custodian to ensure proper upkeep of all facilities.

When a project will incur significant funding, the Committee seeks approval from the Finance Ministry and the Church Council.  In the past, the Committee has also coordinated with the Women’s Guild which has generously funded certain property projects.

When maintenance or repair can be handled by church volunteers, it is the preferred method, thus saving the Congregation funds for other purposes.
