We hope to see you all on Sunday, September 4th to celebrate at the 10 a.m. service with a reception following (with a separate cake for Tommy) in Schoening Hall! Calling all Sunday School Children! Rally Day will be Sunday, September 11th at 10:00 am! We have an exciting year planned and we can’t wait to see you all! Our theme this year is Epic Teachings in the Bible! We will explore the enduring lessons of the Old and New Testaments. Children will build a foundation that guides them in living God’s way. With Epic Teachings of the Bible, we will dig into Scripture such as the Fruit of the Spirit, Armor of God, and Psalm 23. Can’t wait to grow our faith together!
We’re not picking up our hammers this time, but we are providing lunch to those volunteer workers working on a house in Westport on Saturday, September 17th. We plan to deliver donated sandwiches, chips, cookies, drinks and paper goods for 20 workers that day. Please contact Sarah Van Vleck at [email protected] or 508 858-1400 to help. Thank you!
The CCSD will continue to provide a drive-through/pick up food pantry on the third Saturday of every month from 12 to 2 pm. We would like to thank the congregation once again for their commitment and generosity to the CONGO Food Pantry.
- We invite all those joining the church that day to come for breakfast!
- Members of Council will be present to explain their different ministries.
- Rev. Emily will talk to the new members about our church structure and welcome them into the Beloved Community!
If you are planning on joining the church September 25th during our 10 a.m. service PLEASE RSVP to the church office for the breakfast so we know how many people to plan for that day!
