Potluck Dinner – Wednesday, February 5th from 6-7pm: On Wednesday, February 5th we will have our monthly potluck dinner from 6-7 p.m. I thought it would be nice for the winter months of January and February to bring a neighbor or friend to our potluck! The neighbor/friend does not need to bring a dish if we all just slightly increase what we bring then we should have enough food. Also, reassure your guest that we are not proselytizing or trying to recruit new members – we just want to add guests to our table – there is a saying “don’t build walls in this life but build a longer table”. Let’s try “to build a longer table” this month and the next! All faiths welcome!
Saturday, February 8, 7:00-8:00pm – Irish Music Concert, New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center: The Fishing Heritage Center offers a great calendar of events through the winter, including this concert of Irish dance music featuring Golden Lane. A local Southeastern Mass. group, Golden Lane is known for its lively, interactive performances of traditional Irish music. Tickets are $10 Heritage Center members/$12 general public.
