If you are planning on joining the church September 25th during our 10 a.m. service PLEASE RSVP to the church office for the breakfast so we know how many people to plan for that day!
Items include ladies/men’s/kids clothing, shoes, handbags, bags of any kind, toys, games, children’s books, domestic items such as towels (kitchen and bath) sheets, blankets, comforters (soft goods) linens, fabric, curtains, pillows, and jewelry. We will have household items and finer goods for this sale. Small appliances (coffee makers, etc.) will be in working condition. There may be small furniture- pieces that require only 1 person to carry such as nightstands, small chairs, etc.

On the first Wednesday of each month, we will gather and simply eat together! You are welcome to bring something homemade, something store bought or come with empty handed! We hope to have you join us!
An informal group where we can socialize and enjoy our hobbies together. Anyone interested in any type of crafting/handiwork please join us on Thursday, starting on October 6th from 1-3 pm in the church lower social hall.
The Rev. Dr. Gregory Mobley will be teaching a class on the Book of Job.
Dear Friends at South Dartmouth, I invite you to join me—and some of the greatest minds who have ever lived—to immerse ourselves for three Wednesday nights in October in the Bible’s bizarre masterpiece, the book of Job. Somewhere along the way, Job has gotten the reputation as a place where secrets are revealed about the meaning of suffering.
Maybe, maybe not.
But this I do know. After studying and teaching Job at some depth for twenty years, I can guarantee that an open-hearted, full-souled study of Job will absolutely yield revelation. It will bring to the surface questions from the ocean floor of your religious identity.
Before the first class, I recommend that you read the book of Job in whatever translation you want. I do recommend (but do not require) Stephen Mitchell’s translation, readily available through Amazon.
